Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is suing Attorney General Letitia James to force her to release 180 documents from the sexual harassment investigation that drove him out of office, claiming they will exonerate him as he fights the women's lawsuits.
Cuomo is being sued by two women who claimed he sexually harassed them while in office. Their lawsuits were born out of an investigation launched by James' office into Cuomo's alleged behavior, that ultimately prompted his resignation in 2021.
He has always insisted it was a political witch-hunt driven by James, a long term enemy, and that he did no wrong.
The allegations include claims from 11 women who say he groped, kissed and verbally harassed them.

He apologized for any comments that he says may have been misunderstood, but has emphatically denied touching the women.
